Fujairah Culture and Media Authority

Fujairah Culture and Media Authority was founded under the Emiri Decree No. (17) Of 2006, with the aim of raising the level of performance and effectively contributing to achieve an exceptional civilized cultural and media life in the Emirate of Fujairah. A cultural life that supports the development of the human being in accordance with our deep-rooted Islamic and Arabic values.

We, Hamed Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, ruler of Fujairah.

Having cognized the Emiri Decree No. (17) of 1996 concerning the issuing of the Civil Service System for the workers in the government of Fujairah and its amendments, and based on the requirements of the public interest.

We issued the following Decree:

It shall be founded in the Government of Fujairah an authority called “Fujairah Culture and Media Authority", with an independent legal and financial personality and enjoys financial and administrative independence. The authority shall also have full capacity to carry out all legal actions for the implementation of its purposes, and may take legal action and be subject to legal actions, and to deputize any person to represent it before the court on all judicial proceedings. Referred to hereinafter as the Authority.
